Atonometrics
Michael Gostein, Ph.D., is the Chief Technical Officer of Atonometrics, a leading supplier of sensors for PV system performance monitoring. Dr. Gostein obtained his B.S. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin. He has worked in the solar PV industry for over 15 years and is an expert in measurement devices, resource assessment, and monitoring for PV systems. He has published numerous articles on measurements for PV performance and holds 16 issued patents. He is currently the project leader for the IEC 61724 standard series on PV system monitoring and is actively engaged in developing new standards and recommendations for PV system monitoring.
