Beanán has been at UL Solutions since 2016 and is currently a Global Technical Lead, specializing in preconstruction wind energy analysis. Previous to UL, Beanán worked for the global wind turbine OEM, Enercon, managing site suitability work in Northern Europe and East Asia/Oceania. He began his career as a wind analyst in 2008, working for SSE Renewables/Airtricity in the UK and Ireland, where he designed and managed measurement campaigns and performed analysis on a wide range of development and acquisition projects. Beanán holds a BSc in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland, and an MSc in Meteorology from University College Dublin. He also has a post graduate qualification in Energy from the Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh.
